Holes Review

 Book Review of Holes by Louis Sachar

I recommend that all of my friends should read Holes by Louis Sachar. This is a realistic fiction book. I know that this is the genre because there is no talking animals or flying people in the book and also because yellow spotted lizards are real except they are very rare to find.

The main characters in the book are Zero, Stanley, Warden and Kissing Kate Barlow. The book takes place in Camp Green Lake and the olden times. The problem the characters are facing in this book is they try to survive Camp Green Lake. I am not going to tell you how this problem gets solved - you have to read it to find out! Spirit Week! 

I am going to love spirit week because you can dress up as heroes and wear pajama's to school!

Science Expo 2016

Science Expo 

On Thursday, my experiment was Flubber Soap. Presenting, helping communicating went well because it was fun in doing it and also helps other people to understand my presentation.

Some things I can change/improve with my experiment is make sure everyone is on the same step and if they know what they are doing after that.

Galaxy Slime Procedure

Galaxy Slime

1. Pour in the first bottle of glue into the bowl and put the purple glitter in too. Mix.

2. Put the tide little by little until you get the consistency you want.

3. Do this to the blue and the pink.

4. Mix the pink,purple and blue together until it looks like a galaxy.

5. Now you are done!

6. Store in air-tight container. 

Ingredients:

1. 3 bottles of glue

2. blue,pink and purple glitter

3. tide

4.bowl and spoon

What kind of slime do you like, mine is galaxy slime.

M&M experiment

M&M's Experiment

On Tuesday our class did an experiment on m&ms.

We did the experiment very successfully because we used the scientific method: 

• Observe
• Hypothesis
• Results
• Conclusions

We were grouped into 4 or 5's.  

First we had a beaker,a round - flat bottom bowl,graduated cylinder,lukewarm water and m&ms!

So we had to fill our beaker w/ water about 200ml then pour 100 into graduated cylinder then fill the bowl with it. Then we did that one more time.

After that we each get to drop the m&ms right over and into the bowl. There were four different colors of m&ms. 

Then we recorded what it looked like in 3 minutes, 6 minutes and 9 minutes in a worksheet.
